Guys, I’m finally posting my summer project, the finished look of our great room. Back in July I painted over the blue walls, installed the DIY board & batten wall, completely re-designed the entry way with new furniture and some little upgrades like this one (plus, an ikea hack coming your way soon), and picked out new décor and textiles for the living room & dining room. All that took less than a month but deciding what pictures to hang on the wall took four. Whoops!
Up until a few months ago almost every room in house had a different hue to it, but as of late I find myself falling in love with my grey walls more and more every day. That, and the new entry is my favorite part of the new look. It’s much more functional and the new cabinets have so much storage space! You’ll see that we store our winter accessories in the cabinets as well as a ton of shoes. The only thing left on my list is to fill the shadow boxes and find new lighting for the entry and the hallway, but I’ll wait as long as I have to until I find the perfect fixtures.
